Our Deco collection is inspired by the Art Deco era. We tried to capture the bold, free spirit of the Art Deco by creating pieces that can be easily thrown on, and layered whimsically. We drew on archetypical Deco elements, such as arches and monolithic solids. Above all, we drew inspiration from Art Deco’s search for new ‘restore points’ in the past with the aim of creating a better future. Towards this, we channeled all the ‘big’ cultures that underpinned how Art Deco crystallized including Egypt and Mesopotamia. Like the glorious Art Deco movement, our collection advocates embracing different cultures, without appropriating them.
